Position Overview

IGM Technology is seeking a talented and driven Solution Engineer to join our growing team and help shape the future of financial solutions in the US market. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, combining technical expertise, industry knowledge, and outstanding communication skills to showcase Gravity’s value to prospective clients. You will be instrumental in pre-sales engagements, delivering tailored product demonstrations, running Proof of Concepts (POCs), and consulting with government agencies to solve complex financial and operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Engaging Presentations: Conduct customized, impactful demonstrations that highlight how Gravity addresses the unique challenges faced by government agencies, including financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Technical Consultation: Collaborate with prospective clients to understand their needs, guide them through best practices, and configure solutions that meet their goals using your technical expertise.
• Run Proof of Concepts (POCs): Lead and manage POCs to demonstrate Gravity’s capabilities in real-world scenarios, ensuring alignment with client requirements and success criteria.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with sales, product, customer success, and engineering teams to develop strategies for effective client engagement, feedback, and solution delivery.
• Leverage Industry Expertise: Apply your knowledge of government accounting standards (e.g., GASB, FASB), financial reporting, and budgeting to position Gravity as the preferred solution for government agencies.
• Enhance Client Relationships: Build trust with stakeholders by simplifying complex concepts, addressing technical questions, and presenting Gravity as a critical enabler of organizational success.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to product and development teams to refine Gravity’s capabilities and align with client needs and market trends.

 

What We’re Looking For

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, Data Science, or a related field (preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in a client-facing technical role (e.g., Solution Engineering, Pre-Sales, Consulting).
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and/or financial software configuration.
• Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences effectively.
• Knowledge of SaaS and cloud-based platforms; experience with financial systems or MDFM/OLAP solutions is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with government financial processes, including reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
• Strong project management and multitasking skills in a dynamic, remote work environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience presenting or consulting on financial software solutions in the GovTech or public sector.
• Hands-on experience running POCs or developing prototypes to address client challenges.
• Familiarity with government accounting standards, such as GASB or IFRS.
